The PDP Department of IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus organized Guest Session on “Effective CV Writing” for the students of BBA,BCA, BJMC and Bio Science on 24 October 2016. The programme provided a platform to the students to know the essentials of job applications in the selection process during final placements, summer internship programmes and live projects.
The Guest Speaker of the session- Mr. Nilanjay Roy, Head of Strategy at Times Business Solution Ltd. shared his experience and expertise with the students. The participants of the session were able to identify the right set of amendments and relevant vital areas of development regarding CV and Cover Letter. The question- answer round at the end of the programme, cleared all the possible doubts of the students.
This important session was planned under the effective guidance of Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus. She briefed the students about the relevance of the topic in context to enhanced practices of Human Resource Management. Dr. Pooja Rastogi, Dean IMSUC appreciated the thought provoking words of the guest speaker. More than 150 registered students appreciated the valuable insights and extended a note of gratitude to the institute for such this essential skill development.
Ms. Priyanka Sadhna, Chairperson PDP & Dr. Deepa Goel, Faculty PDP coordinated the event and extended a note of gratitude to all the students for their overwhelming participation. Prof. Kumar Saurav & Prof. Alok Singh Chauhan, Prof. Girish and Mr. Pushpesh also assisted the team for smooth coordination.
